Matrioska Dream is part of a series of conceptual illustrations that examine the role of art in a post-apocalyptic world where the planet is on the verge of collapse. The series reflects on how all the beauty that art embodies could ultimately be destroyed by our own actions. In these three illustrations, the Matrioska symbolizes nature—our planet.
